World champion Pankaj Advani completed a hat-trick of National snooker title, beating Saurav Kothari 6-3 in the final of the National Billiards and Snooker Championship at Agra today. Advani lost the first frame 28-111 with Kothari scoring a break of 102 but won the next three frames 81-16, 78-1, 84-8 to lead by three frames to one.
Kothari rallied to take the fifth frame 78-11, but Advani bounced back, winning the next two frames 102-35, 152, 102 -00 to lead 5-2. Not throwing in the towel, Kothari reduced the lead to 5-3 winning the next 98-00 but Advani completed the tally winning the ninth frame 75-00.
